An aerial view of the decaying docks and warehouses along the North bank of the St. Johns River just East of the Main Street Bridge in downtown Jacksonville in the late 1940’s or early 1950’s. This was near the end of the city waterfront being a working waterfront as bulkheads and parking lots replaced wooden piers and crumbling warehouses.
