Two young ladies with flowers in their hair and a whole lot of fishing lures. There are several photos in the Loyd Sandgren Collection shot at the Florida Fishing Tackle Manufacturing Company (Barracuda Brand) in St. Petersburg, FL which would have been shot in 1946 when he was working for the state out of Tallahassee, FL. The original company was in business from the 1920’s through the 1970’s and was the largest manufacturers of fishing tackle in Florida in the 1950’s. Today there is a company that creates vintage replicas of the Barracuda originals for sale to collectors.
