Looking Northbound up Hogan Street at the intersection with Forsyth Street around 1950. The Hotel George Washington stands in the upper left of the photograph. The Gilbert Hotel and Hotel Windsor can be seen further up Hogan Street. The Exchange Building in the center of the photograph was built in 1930 and still stands on West Adams Street, minus the sign on top. Most of the other buildings in this photograph are now gone.
