This is the type of note that Loyd Sandgren attached to many of his photographs as he organized his collection in his later years. He would put the photos in binder type albums and would walk from his Springfield apartment and make the rounds to downtown Jacksonville shops, the old downtown library, hot dog vendors and folks on the street striking up conversations and sharing his work. Loyd is the cigar smoking devil in the lower left of the group photo.

Oh Bob, keep them coming. You know, your images will be just as valuable right? Keep your images arcived like Loyd did for the history & enjoyment of those not here yet, but will crave the history & information your images will provide. BIG job I know..& hope you are not found on the sidewalk saying to some shooter..”Hey I was a photographer once” I know that won’t happen, but thanks for what you are doing.
