A store display of tea and spices at an A&P grocery store. The chain hired Loyd Sandgren to photograph showcase examples and prints of the displays would be sent to other stores in the chain to use as a model display. It looks like many of the old brands remain, only the prices have changed.

Looks like a 50’s era convenience store but I can’t find any signage with the business name. It is across the street from an A&P Food Store. I’d say they were really pushing the Lucky Strike cigarette brand!

Among Loyd Sandgren’s clients was the A&P Grocery chain which according to conversations with Loyd, had him photograph displays at their Jacksonville store so that they could send out prints to other stores to show the way they wanted the products displayed at other locations. Anybody recognize the gentlemen in the photo?
