The Atlantic Coast Line Railroad building reflecting on the almost glassy St. Johns River not long after it opened in the early 1960’s.  It is now known as the CSX building.

A very young looking Bob Hope during a visit to Jacksonville around 1950.  The notes with the image indicate it was shot in the Florida Theatre although looking at the image I’m not so sure.  Anyone out there with more information?

According to Loyd’s notes this was shot on Sanders Field at Mayport Naval Station in 1943 during the time he was stationed there as a Navy photographer.  The fielding team has Gibbs on their jersey. I can’t read the base runners.
